Speed Math is an educational math game aimed to help children improve and practice their Arithmetic capabilities. The game play is quite simple. All we need to do is select the arithmetic operation we want to practice (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) from the Problem Type menu. We can also select a vehicle (red car, yellow bus, etc.) from the Select Car menu, and then start doing the exercise proposed by the program.
Once we have entered the answer figure, we can click on the Check my Answer button. If the answer is correct, the selected vehicle will move a bit. If we give a wrong answer the car will stay in the same place, and we are given the opportunity to do the exercise again. Alternatively, we can go to the next exercise.
This program features an attractive graphical interface that is very fit for young children. It features five customizable difficulty levels, and over 100 play levels. The free evaluation version gives us a good view at what the program has to offer. It has one limitation, that is we can only select the addition operation. If we like the program, we can purchase the license key from the registration option at the toolbar. Speed Math supports several languages. It runs under Windows XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, and 95. |
